    SC NFLST pricing

Why is it not a surprise that SC would not offer HD ? Do they lack the bandwidth ?

Did you have to have the HD Package to view all the games ?

    Sunday Ticket

According to kusat the SC HD STB is above $100 more then the BEV and if I understand things correctly I will need to get the SC dish, lnb and switch will increases shipping cost. If I go with BEV I can pickup the LNBs locally and just get the switch sent with the receiver saving some shipping.

So if I don't have the BEV HD package I will only get to see the 4 games in their HD NFLST slots which most likely be less then 4 games since the CBS-E, CBS-W, Fox-E, Fox-W and Global HD channels get first "dibs" on those games.

I just called KuSat and they said neither SC or BEV would have an HD version of NFLST, does this sound right ?

Thanks for the all the help so far guys, I am starting to feel information overload and have a few more questions, hopefully the answer will help me make a the right choice. BTW - There will probably be more people looking for NFLST in the near future because of the D* new pricing. I do not...

Is SC a better choice then BEV for ST in HD ? If I remember correctly, SC's basic package is lower then BEV's.

    Sunday Ticket

I want to order a HD receiver & Sunday Ticket using a broker and have a few questions... 1) Is it possible to order ST "al a carte", ie no monthly programming cost ? 2) Assuming the answer #1 is no, who has the cheapest monthly cost and still broadcast all the HD games ? Up until just...

What New Channels Are Mandatory for You/Your Family?

Vicki - NESN = New England Sport Network. It carries the Red Sox and Bruins games in HD, so it obviously a RSN but has nothing to do with Fox. The Fox affiliate in Boston carries very little local sports, just an occasional baseball game.

If Voom had a DVR and NESNHD I would switch from Comcast.

    Can I swap D* for Voom ?

I do have a far amount of room to swivel the dish left. My D* dish is a newer one, or at least I bought new 6 months ago. Vurbano mentioned below Voom uses one of the three lnbs, does it matter which one or is it simply the one that points 61.5. I think I might a Voom customer soon :)

    Can I swap D* for Voom ?

My Voom azimuth is 166 and my D* azimuth is 235. I not real good with cartesian math but if I understand things correctly, I think I need to swivel my dish left. How much left I have no clue :) I also need to elevate by 7 degrees.

    Can I swap D* for Voom ?

What is the difference in direction between the two ? My D* dish is mount on the side of my house and has the chimney on another side and because of its oval shape does have alot of room to swivel in either direction.

    Can I swap D* for Voom ?

I have a old D* ST only subscription and 3 LNB Dish and HD Receiver. With Vooms current $1 promo I am thinking of giving it a try for 6 months. Can I reuse my D* dish or do I need a different dish ? Is the elevation angle and direction roughly the same ? Can I do a self-install ? I don't need...

    D* dish setup/installation help needed

I am trying to upgrade myself to HD via ebay. I bought a oval 3 LNB dish and when it arrived it only had two LNBs The box the dish came in says it is a trk-s23 (18x24). I could not find it listed on www.terk.com so it must be kinda old. While I wait for a 3rd LNB I would like to proceed with...
