As part of a service call, the technician said he had to replace a "blue" barrel connector because it wasn't the correct type for the HD signal. He failed to see, and replace, a second barrel connector on the same cable run. When I checked the newly installed barrel connector, it was "blue" too...

Thanks for the help on the signal strength. Is there anything peculiar about the "Point Dish" screen listing 61.5 West? If the dish is facing east, shouldn't the "Point Dish" screen be 61.5 East?

Dishnetwork's site says the 322 receiver's TV2 UHF Pro remote has a range of up to 200 feet. Would the UHF remote for TV2 on the Duo VIP 222k receiver have the same range?

I'm considering switching to DirecTV. I don't want any new holes in the roof, so after removing the Dishnetwork dish, is it possible to install the DirecTV dish on the Dishnetwork pole, or does each company have a unique installation?

DishNetwork's site says SD content is up-converted to HD for the VIP 222k, but it doesn't say that for the VIP 211. Does this mean the VIP 211 receives a HD signal without having to up-convert a SD signal? Or, do both receivers have to up-convert SD content to HD and DishNetwork's site is...
