Replaced the cable. I have a new cable going directly from one LNB on the dish pointed to 91. No switches. Still get the same issue. I do not have dual LNB's.

I have a dish 500 24" inch dish. If I upgrade to the 1000 turbo eliptical dish, can anyone tell me if I can just swap out the dish or do I need to install a new LNB bracket etc.? I am having trouble with the HD station transponders fading in and out and want the easiest possible solution...

So if I use a dish like Winegard-DS-2077-30-Dish-Network-Satellite-Dish I may be able to get 82? Can I use the LNB from my 500 with this 30" dish? Just not the same without my HD channels. Thanks, DR

Location I'm in between Harrisburg and Philadelphia, PA. So that explains the issues I am having with transponders 7 and 11? Would an eliptical dish help? What about the problem with the 82 transponders taking so long to register a signal? Thanks for all the responses :)

Just an update. Put up a second satellite (had it laying around the house), moved it to an unobstructed view and got the 82 signal. Hooked it into the switch on the first satellite and I'm good to go. Thanks for the help Iceberg - glad I found the site.

Is there somewhere I can find out which transponders correspond to each satellite?

Sorry to beat the horse again but where on the horizon is the 82 signal is relation to the 91 signal or the Nimiq 3 signal? Up/Down East or West? That would help me determine if the tree is actually in the way. Thanks again. Dan

I have two lnb's with two sw21's. I tried swapping the lnb's with no luck. So what you are saying is that I could be blocked from the 82 signal while still getting 100% on 91? Should I try direct connecting to 82 and moving my dish around to make sure? Do they make mast extensions to raise...
