I have about had it with the HR21....this morning again while watching the Turkish Grand Prix which we record about an hour of and then start watching when skipping through commercials it went right to the end of the recording! Its done this 5 times now, 3 times with Formula 1 racing, once...

Lack of conveinance + DRM = Piracy. They just don't get it. Everytime they do stuff like this I start to care less where I get my content from, or if I pay for it or not.

Mine froze a few times and what really pissed me off was it jumped to the end of a recording. We were watching the F1 race and I hit skip ahead 3 times and it skipped right to the end, nearly 90 minutes forward to see Kimi doing the interview as the winner. :mad:

On our old E* SD DVR we had years ago we used to use that procedure to watch two shows at once. Thanks for the tip on the 30 second thing, I'll check it out.

Did they check everything? The guy wasn't motivated enough to make sure you had a properly working box and gave you a BS excuse as to why he didn't want to go get another, he obviously did a poor job of pointing your dish....I would bet this wiring and crimping skills might not have been upto...

Well this is directly from Plasma Concepts. They said they wanted to hook up 2 HDTV's in their showroom to the same DVR and it worked until HDMI was plugged in. I would love to switch but worry about this issue coming up.
