hmmmm usually if we could get 110 and 119, 101 is no problem you could run a 2 dish setup like someone else has mentioned, or you could try a tripod on the roof. this looks like a camera stand and will rasie the dish up about 3-5 feet. this should give you the clearance you need. it may not...

its an optional service so they are going to charge you. if you have the premium package, dvr serivce is free of charge. if you had time warner cable, they charge 8 dollars additional per tivo box. so if you had 2 tivos with cable thats $16 extra a month with Directv, if you have 2 tivos...

yep, phone line is only needed for initial activation. you will just get a little message to make a daily call.

we call the 95 and 101 sat dish an "odu". this is what you need in order to get south asain programming. make sure you also get a 4x4 mutil switch. even if you have 1 tv, you need this switch to combine the 2 satellites together

you ould just get an oval 3 lnb dish and get all the satellites. as with the receiver, yes DirecTv will let you activate a used receiver but you need to get the card from them. I deal with it all day long.

the d10-200's dont have a tone. if you want, unplug the receiver, plug it back in. when the message pops up "welcome, your directv receiver is starting up" press the buttons in this order: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8. this will start a software update that the new d11s have. you will have all new menus...

you should be able to pick up local and digital channels off of one dish. dont call directv and tell them you want to bring a receiver back and forth. this is considered signal piracy and would be considered illegal. my advice is just cancel the one account and bring the reciever back and forth...
