Does anyone know when DirecTV is going to have ESPNU in HD? It seems like a few other carriers already have it available to there customers in HD, so I'm wondering why not Direct.

what kind of gripes do people have with ESPN in the 200 channels

I've noticed that I get some HD channels around the 70's # and then again on the higher #'s. why is this? Does 1 have a better picture quality than the other?

You should be able to hit your list button on your remote and then the list of recorded programs that you have should come up. I've did this many of times when we loose sat. picture due to weather.

Lately I have been noticing like a white flash going through my TV while watching basketball games on ESPN, ESPN2 & Big Ten Network. These are the only channels that it does it on. I'm wondering if this is a broadcasting issue or a DTV tech issue. If anyone has any other info or has noticed...

I just recently bought a new TV stand that has the wire management system in the back... What this is, there is a tube that travels all the way down through the back of the stand so all of your wires can go into it instead of being visible. What I'm worried about is having RCA cables and HDMI...

Has anyone else noticed that ESPN and ESPN2 picture has been flashing lately almost like a camera flash going on in the background? I thought it may be my HDMI cable going bad so I switched over to just regular SD broadcast and same thing. Hope it's not my TV. If anyone else noticed this let me know

Makes sense, So then if it is not being broadcast in HD then why is the picture quality better with the "bars"than if I was to switch over to the standard definition of the same channel. It's all very confusing to me !!!! Thanks,

Should I replace the HDMI cables that Directv gives through the install and replace them for some of the more expensive ones that are sold at like best buy, circuit city, ETC. Will I notice any picture difference? Thanks

I Have had HD for about a year now, and just bought a new Plasma TV. Why when sometimes I watch ESPN2 I get black bars on the side of the screen. Some say it means the show is not in HD just digital picture, others say because it's not being broadcast in 16:9 so the bars go there so the picture...
