Not being a long time user of dish, how would I have known that there was a hidden option to bridge? What on the screen or in the manual would alert me that this screen has a hidden button.?

I agree. I really was not expecting this to work, but was wondering what the designers had in mind when they decided to put two Ethernet jacks on the box.
