DVR Recordings Slow or Won't Load

I will try this tonight when I get home. I chated via twitter with DIRT last night, they stated it is a known issue that they are working on and he suspects when I get the 528 update it might fix itself. Hopefully!

DVR Recordings Slow or Won't Load

I am having trouble getting DVR recordings to load on both Hopper3 and Joey4k. It was initially a problem just on my Joey4k. I had Dish out, they replaced the Joey4k. Then the Hopper3 started doing the same thing. So the tech replaced the Hopper3 as well. The issue has gotten worse since I...

    Saved Recordings

I have a series set up to record all episodes and keep a maximum of 15. This works great as it deletes the oldest. However, is there a way to force the system to keep one of the episodes within the grouping? There was one episode that my son really likes and I would like to save that one...

    New Receiver

Thank you for the information. I have an older rear projection HD tv. Has a couple HDMI inputs, only is 1080i. I hope to keep this TV for a couple years. I have a Samsung Blu-Ray player and the Hopper for my Sat receiver. I don't have any gaming systems and don't see having any of those for...

    New Receiver

Just for TV and blu-ray. I would still be using the HTIB speakers. Really the biggest problem is the sony I have doesn't accept the wires, the wires have to go to an adapter which is then put into the "receiver". I can't get those to stay in and the sound keeps dropping.

    New Receiver

Hi all, looking for some tips. Have had a Sony Home Theatre in a box receiver that I have used for years (10 probably). Looking to get rid of that and get a true 5.1 receiver. I do not want to spend a fortune (less than 300-400). What would you recommend? I have looked at Onkyo, Denon, etc...

    Coming back to Dish

After a brief experiment with Comcast and the X1 platform I am returning to Dish today with a Hopper installation. Excited to come back. Looking forward to learning the Hopper.

Looking to Come Back to Dish

Made a mistake and switched to Comcast and the X1. Have had lots of trouble. Looking to come back to Dish. I have been gone long enough that I am now a new customer again. It doesn't appear that they have any exceptional promos going on right now. I get free equipment (hopper) and 2 Joeys...

Getting X1 installed in a few days!

I switched from Dish to Comcast. I didn't have a hopper before I switched though, I had a 722. I really like to X1. It takes a little getting used to after have 622/722 for 10+ years. 4 tuners plus a 5th live is nice. The ondemand also means you don't have to record a lot of shows if you...
