Title says it all, anyone know the sequence to reinitialize the disk on a 722?

Ever since my 722 downloaded the new firmware, my DVR reboots when I try to manipulate any recording. I select skip/restore for example, it appears to hang for a couple minutes then reboots. What's the deal? It was fine before 6.14

OK, I have an odd problem. Dish lets me order the 1080p movie but then I get a flashing screen like a DVD "skipping". It downloads and thinks it's playing, it's just unwatchable with the screen flashing. You see 3-4 seconds, then a 4-5 second delay, then 3-4 more seconds, then 45- second delay...

Curious, I see channels 501, there are about 8 of them but none of them lists "I am Legend" as a selection. My TV is 1080p and when I select another movie, I don't get the 1080p option, just the standard "Do you want to rent this movie?" kind of message.

How would I turn that on? I've been on every menu I think.

Yup, they are there. 5180-5183 has my local HD channels.

61.5, 110 and 119 on both.

Tried the soft reboot, compared settings against the working 211 and found a couple things. It all looks the same now and no local HD on the 722.

Standard Def. channels show up on the guide fine, OTA channels show up on the guide fine, the Dish HD locals don't show up on the guide. My VIP 211 shows the local HD channels along with the others and they work fine. Strange huh?

I see something similar to this only on OTA channels. The sound is ok but the video will be very choppy, like 1 frame ever 2 seconds. I re-boot the receiver and it's fine. This has happened 3 times so far with no apparent pattern. First time I saw it I thought the Olympics feed was screwed up...

I just got off the phone and signed up for the 811 to 211 upgrade. The CSR claimed I needed to re-adjust my 61.5 dish to the 129 position. From what I've read on here that isn't true. I don't care about local HD over sat since my OTA HD works great in this area. All the other HD channels, new...

am I missing something or is the Vip222 missing a HDMI/DVI connection?
