Factory software?? Just wanted to mention the obvious...do you have superdish checked on the installation summary screen? Also make sure the receiver has the latest software version. If it's factory swv, exit signal screen to get the initial software and rerun the test.

First turn off rcvr and remove the power cord then the satellite in feed. Plug power cord back in and sat cable back on. (this is suppose to clear the memory of the switch set-up) then run the check switch. Good luck.

Hmmmm Before I got too creative Buckwild, make sure the bats are fresh. Don't trust the batteries that came with it. If still having problems I would readress that remote to the receiver. If still not working...then make the pig-tail.
