VIPs have issues, too. I had Trouble Calls on VIP receivers every single day when they were the main boxes and we STILL do.

Different states have different rules. Illinois, for example, you can cancel it the same day, no penalty. Random Dish tech means TRAINED Dish tech who has the most current know-how and equipment. You local guy probably doesn't

No, they didn't. They didn't have HD on the modulated tuners. Technicians don't run CAT5/6 as only the two connections on the Hopper could feed 2 Joeys. Anymore and you'd need a switch, which is just another fail point. They don't have the connectivity options. The progression is to go from VIP...
