could be a number of things. bad lnbfs, not aligned properly or even a bad connection somewhere. unlikely the reciever since it is new but not impossible. run the check switch if it counts to 38 then its not reading the lnbf if it counts to 1,2,3 or 4 its most likely and alignment issue or...

i would advise against the eastern arc dish stick with the 1000.2 we have had nothing but problems withe the 1000.4's since we've been installing them. also u will only get 3 HD channels in HD dish doesn't have CBS in HD as of now

the 77 dish isnt hard to install.pretty much its just like installing a 61.5 dish. the only tricky part, unless u have a superbuddy, is that the 77 and 72 satellites are so close together it might take a few tries to get it right

also if u unplug the reciever sometimes it will count thru to 5 with no problem. but when turned off and back on it does it again. and this has happened to the 722, 222, and 211k recievers. i have literally tried everything and like i said this is a everyday thing lately.

we've had service calls everyday on recievers hooked up to the new 1000.4 dishes. the problem is they work fine then on the 015 screen they get stuck on 4 of 5 and then kick back to 0 or 2 and start again. i have tried everything from replacing the lnbf, peaking the dish with my superbuddy...

i am currently a sat technician for a dishnet rsp. ive been thinking alot lately about ways to go on my own where i get the full price for installs and sales. i just dont know where to start or how to go about it. i have a few fellow technicians that will work with me. if anyone has any advice...

if you want all the hd channels dish offers you will need a dish 1000 upgrade. also it depends if you're replacing the 811 or just adding the 622.

if the signal stenght is over 100 on both sat's then its most likely the receiver from my experience ( or possibly bad fitting somewhere). also did you know you can run a legacy receiver off a dpp lnb as long as its connected to the 2nd port? i never tried it but a fellow tech of mine said he...

i disagree i have diplexed cable internet lines with my dish lines numerous times it DOES work. same way as diplexing an off air antennae.
