I believe I read something about it on the transcripts of the chat... seems they mentioned something about the hd model getting nbr first.

Anyone else annoyed by the fact that Dish Network has deemed it necessary to implement NBR on their HD model DVR first and not the 522? I think this is ridiculous. Im glad I have my media center PC up and running. Im about to say so long to DishNetwork altogether.

Nope. Media Center Edition has better PVR features than Dish's-- namely record a series on one channel or all.... which basically is a season pass.

Probably wouldn't be a good idea to mess with the interactive stuff while you are recording something.

Yes, I've noticed this annoying artifacting too. And the sound seems to cut out right at the most inopportune moment too. :eek: Or maybe it IS the drugs. JUST KIDDING.

In a related topic- TIVO is going to be taking away some functionality of their service by automatically deleting PPV movies after a certain amount of time has past. I can see their reasoning behind this... its called pay per VIEW.. not pay per own. I hope at least they give you a fair amount of...

On regular live tv its not so bad but with recorded tv its just awful.
