Not sure if this is your issue or not, but you might want to go online or give DTV a call and verify that it was actually removed. I have had issues in the past with trying to add service online. I get confirmation that the service was added, but I still get "channel not purchased." Go online...

Do a keyword search for "IAMANEDGECUTTER" and click "Done". Then hold menu and info on the face of the DVR (not the remote) at the same time for about 2 to 3 seconds and a menu will display that will let you change it.

I'm having the same exact issue. When I connect straight to the TV the reception is perfect. I can even get channels almost 40 miles away. When I connect to the DVR I get tons of pixelation and the signal is not constant. It will go from 80 to 40 back to75 down to 0.

Yeah, I originally had the HDVR, and two regular receivers so I only needed 4 lines. I just upgraded to the R10 about 5 months ago and decided not to worry about the second tuner at the time. I plan on calling DTV tonight and ordering the H10-250. Thanks for everyone's help.

No, I'm not able to get to it. I don't have a ladder that tall. It is the switch that is built into the dish. I think it is a 5x4 (4x4).

Install was done about 2 1/2 years ago. I'm not sure if I ever had one because I had no reason to check. Never had HD and my locals are on the 101.
