    Vip722K Remote IR/UHF Switch Issue

I apologize in advance if this has already been covered. I've been searching the forums for this issue and can't find anything. I'm trying to follow the instructions for switching remote 2 to IR but I'm having difficulty. It says to switch the remote to IR, select the System Info button on the...

    Vip222 TV2 remote with MCE

So, I'm thinking for now I just leave the IR blaster disconnected and program it with the remote from TV1 just to get past the settup screen. Then controll them seperately. This won't work for contolling live TV but it least we can record shows this way. ...at least I think it will work.

    Vip222 TV2 remote with MCE

Is there any way to get Windows MCE to recognize the UHF remote for TV2 on the Vip222? We want to use it for recording while keeping TV1 as our primary viewing.

Solution for HD recording to PC?

Even if it were capable of HDCP that's all it would be. At least that's what I was thinking. Otherwise your TV would need to be compatible with the dish encryption garys was eluding too.

    Nickelodeon HD

The only other channel I insist on having is Fox Sports Northwest HD. I can't miss my Husky Football/basketball, even though they suck lately. Does anybody know if these regional sports channels will be available as part of the Turbo HD stand alone packages with locals add-on. I'm assuming that...

    Nickelodeon HD

These new Turbo HD packages appear as though they can be purchased as add-ons to your basic "Americas" package or as stand alone. It would be cool if we could drop our America's package and just buy the stand alone HD package with the locals add-on to save some dough. Without Nick HD we can't do...

    Nickelodeon HD

It seems like Dish has allot of disputes with networks. I would hope it's an attempt to keep our costs down but it's a little irritating.

    Nickelodeon HD

Does anybody know if there are plans in the works to add Nick HD to the lineup? My daughter's favorite show is the Backyardigans which is on this channel.

    SD Receiver & Locals

Thanks! I already knew that everything Dish network puts out is already digital and we would be largely non effected by the by the analogue to digital revolution. I just didn't know whether Dish was doing a conversion of the digital channels to cover the loss of the analogue channels. Thanks...

    SD Receiver & Locals

So what's going to happen to our local channels if we're still using a SD receiver? Since the stations won't be broadcasting in the SD signal anymore I'm assuming they won't be available. Unless Dish is planning on sending out a downgraded version of of the HD channels to cover us. Sorry, this...

Actually, we're getting our HD locals from either sat 119 or 110. Plus we're also getting USA, SciFi, TNT, ESPN, HDNet, and HDThtr offo of one of those 2. Did anybody else experience pixelation and video freeze on the ABC affiliates last night during Greys Anatomy and Lost? Or was that just...
