As someone who has had both services, they are both good, one offering advantages over the other. As far as hd quality goes, there is no big difference. Some people get too hung up on this. You have to ask yourself which provider best fits your needs and in your case it sounds like dish does...

Regarding sunday ticket, you do have a large selection of games to choose from, but it was too much for me to keep up with, and found myself mainly watching my local team, redzone, and if there was a big matchup I could not get on my local channel. I'll still see enough games on sun and mon nights.

Remember, you do have a 2 yr contract w/ dish [or pay $99 w/o contract] but don't forget in the 1st yr you also get $15 off monthly of your base pkg.. I went back w/ dish [had them before] today after my experience w/ directv csr on this issue [see earlier post and I was not going to call again...

Just called and it was a no go. :mad: This was after 2nd person told me I could get it and had a problem doing the transaction and transferred me to a 3rd person. He said it was only for new customers with the promotion starting today. I told him that existing customers were getting wrong end...

What about the stand-alone redzone like dish offers? :cool:
