    SWM 3 LNB Split?

Yes u would a swm 16 module not a swm 8. Swm 16 module expands your current system to a 16 channel system. A swm 8 module will not allow more than 8 channels.

    Interesting news regarding CSN Philly.

Had a meeting at work yesterday. I am a install tech for directv. Was told Comcast lost their appeal to withhold csn philly from satellite. Hopefully I will be watching the Phils sooner rather than later.

    WHNS 21 not working

    Any truth to this story????

Thanks Scott. I'm not sure how credible this story is or the Dish Tech for that matter. I'm just chomping at the bit to get some sort of news on CSN Philly coming to D*. I am a huge Phillies fan and hate that they are blacked out on MLB EI.

    Any truth to this story????

I periodically do a google search to see if there is any new information on Comcast Sportsnet Philly coming to D*. I came across this forum during one of my searches. What does everyone think? And is there any truth to this story and if so when will D* see some information on this topic? Here is...

Whats the difference between HR24 and older HD-DVRs? What about H24 and older HD rcvrs too?

It's not a guarantee, but like I said, you can request the 24's at order or call back and ask them to add them to work order. I see it done all the time.

    Lease?

HR24 or H24 are the way to go.

Whats the difference between HR24 and older HD-DVRs? What about H24 and older HD rcvrs too?

The HR24 and H24 are virtually the same receiver except one is a DVR. They are the newest and best receiver Directv has. They are no buttons on the front. Everything is touch sensitive. Also the software has been improved allowing for faster remote response. They also have a built in DECA unit...

DirecTV: get new customers to pay old customer's unpaid bills.

The guys is right. Directv does flag the address and charges the current owner to pay any unpaid balances from previous customer.

    Slimline alignment possible w/o meter?

The 99 and 103 will not show up on a meter. You have to fine tune the dish to pick up those satellites. Basically on each pin there is a bolt with a dial on it. One for elevation the other for azimuth. You have to turn 2 to the left and record that number on meter. Turn back to right til you get...

    2 HR-24's, share record list?

No. If someone is watching a recorded program in one room, you cannot watch another from same DVR in another room. It will say DVR in use or something similar.
