First question: no master contract with Dish. We pay Hotwire Communications who supplies Dish programming and equipment, if we subscribe. I am sure Hotwire has a contract with Dish. Second: we signed no agreement with Dish.

I have a 722k and have to have several timers, or add new ones, for programs to record. I think the fault lays with the guide information.

I was thinking that myself so I checked and it is in all but the Basic package. Plus, I have found I am missing a lot more than 246. About 50 channels that I should have are not in my guide.

I got 1077 this morning. It looks like they fixed scrolling through the playlist fixed where it used to skip past the bottom item after the second scroll. BUT...now scrolling through the guide, the blue highlighter that shows what program you are looking at disappears. This happens using up/down...

rockabdchelle, you were absolutely right about the bill going up $15.99 a month. Whoever called made no mention of that fact. They didn’t even ask if I wanted the offer. They just said here is what you’re getting and hung up. Thanks for the heads up.

I got a call this evening from DirecTV saying that since I was a valued customer I was getting HBO and CINAMAX free for a year as well as $15 off the bill, also for a year. I said, “OK”. Anyone else or am I special. Haha.
