Keep in mind it depends on your market. In mine, Comcast is further along than DISH in providing local content & RSN in HD.....

Yup...the best you will get from your locals is primetime TV plus the Late Shows like Letterman & Leno.....Even primetime is hit or miss - no game shows and most reality shows are still SDTV.....CSI, Law & Order, ER and some comedy shows make it all worthwhile tho....:up:up

Yeah, if the Red is off - then the red cable isnt seated. I just went from DISH to Comcast - no discernable difference in color setttings.

Comcast in Lansing, MI will add HDTV HD and Food HD on July 31. Any HD is good HD - both these channels are very good and looking forward to them. Comcast is slowly rivaling DISH in HD programming.

Same here. Just using it in the attic with a preamp allows me to pull in them all. Including the FOX station at 100% over 30 miles away. ABC & NBC are more than acceptable 80%+. The problem station has always been the CBS affiliate and I can get them at 68% but some antennas cant get it at all...

I always go to technical support for anything - adding receivers, dishmover, etc and have good luck.
