It's the same base function as the DTiVos (without the hack). It skips to the end. Press it again and it skips to the beginning.

It installs just like a DTiVo, except you don't need a phone line to the box. Otherwise the R15 was just like installing my two DSR-704s.

The R15 is as good as my DTiVos, not as good as the older UTV.

I don't seem to have this problem. My R15 is in another room and is off most of the time. It has been recording all my series links on various channels without a problem. The response time on the R15 is no worse than it is on my DSR-704s. Comparing it to a receiver (D10 or D11) is really not...

It's not a power off, it's Standby, just like the older DTiVos. It still records. The problem is the remote, when turning off the TV with the remote, it also puts the R15 in Standby. I wish it didn't do that.
