Yes, that is what I meant. If after the swap, you see a change then you know it's in front of the block. If there is no change, then there is a bad connector or cable between the block and the 722 or the separator, or 722 itself is the problem.

If the separator is killing the voltage to your meter, it is also killing the voltage to your LNB. It sounds like either your separator died when you moved it, or you may have a bad cable/connector. Look at your wire connecters carefully for a stray piece of wire from the shield that is touching...
