    Good signal strength yet fails setup on the Odd 99 & 103 .....

    Helping out a buddy with his install. Pegged the 101 (all 95+). High 80's on both the 99 & 103 evens & odd's yet when I select "Continue" it fails the check for the odd 99's & 103's. Slimline 3 with 4 outputs. Any ideas ?

    Still slower than my wife on her way to the bedroom ! :eek: WHEN will they improve the guide and menu response speed ? I can practically go get a coffee while I wait for the guide pages to load ! :mad:

    Back in the day you could keep any PPV you recorded for as long as you liked. Then, a while back, DTV dissalowed this, putting time limits on stored PPV recordings. This sucks. Have they ever considered an option for us to perhaps pay a few dollars more, allowing us to keep PPV movies on the...

    The bottom line is they can't get it right .... I've had an HR22 for a while now and the response time has varied from exceptional to downright pathetic .... changing with every firmware update. The thread starter is right .... shameful at best. :mad: Still waiting ... UB.

    There's definately a foliage issue but it's hard to tell if the leaves are really in the way or just catching the edge ... Depends on how high in the sky the birds are. Anyway, I rarely have signal issues ... only when we have the NASTIEST weather and then, only until the worst of it passes...

    Mine have always been in the mid to high 80's .... I've never been able to grab all 5 birds and get 90's on all of them. Mast is probably out of plumb a bit as my true beam peak methodology is solid.

    It was there yesterday but gone today. The 103(a) is fine with all available transponders in the high 80's ? Did they turn it off ?
