Good signal strength yet fails setup on the Odd 99 & 103 .....

Helping out a buddy with his install. Pegged the 101 (all 95+). High 80's on both the 99 & 103 evens & odd's yet when I select "Continue" it fails the check for the odd 99's & 103's.

Slimline 3 with 4 outputs.

Any ideas ?

Your signal levels are not high enough. You should be averaging low 90's in the least. You pretty much have to get it nearly perfect.

Is this a new install or is this a movers or new receiver? If its an existing setup, he should call DirecTV and tell them to grant him a waiver if he's happy with his levels.

X2 with spaceghost. Get numbers into the 90s.

Yep you don't have it ditthered properly. You can peg 101 over a wide range compared to the 99 and 103. You lowest possible signal to pass is 86. Get it to that point or you will have signal issues with the HD.
