    Declination Angle

    I live at Location Latitude: 26.4036° Longitude: -80.2061° What is the correct declination? Is there a calculator? I am using a polar mount on a 7.5 mesh dish. Correct me if I'm wrong but the main bar in the middle of the mount, should that be set to my Latitude? Thanks

    Thanks guys!!!! That was the problem I was aligning 4DTV first and then checking FTA. I now aligned FTA first flipped the 90 deg ON and that was it. I thank you!! I would never had thought of that.

    I have a 4dtv box connected to a bsc-621-1 LNBF I then disconnect cable when I peak out the sat and connect to my pansat 2500 receiver. I also have a 7.5 ft sami. I have no splitters yet I was testing just to use the 4dtv box as a mover for the FTA receiver.

    Has this ever happened to any of you guys? I can receive 4dtv signal at 99 quality 99 signal on galaxy 17 and I cannot get any DVB signals? Is it an alignment issue? I am sure that I should be able to get both signals of the same bird correct?

    Can someone ID this dish?

    OK so it is now confirmed thank you captain!!! I have a Perfect 10 and SAMI 7.5 dish. Now which one is better and will these dish out perform my 6ft Fortec? Perfect 10 is slightly banged up and reads 1/2 an inch off on two petals. SAMI is missing two mesh panels and is in round shape.

    Let me know if these pictures help? Also this is a total newbie question and I am sorry for asking it. Would I still be able to get signal with this dish and the missing mesh? If so about how bad would the signal be?

    Where does one go about to get mesh for their satellite dish? I read to go to a sheet metal shop, but what do you ask for is their a depth or should you just bring one good panel and have them duplicate it? Happy Thanksgiving to all and your families.
