This is so wrong. OTA HD puts this stuff to shame and is a great example of what HD could look like. If network programming wasn't so bad it would be a great alternative for the Lite-crap Dish is feeding us. The sad part is that this supposed HD does not even look as good as a well produced DVD...

All HD definitely is not equal, though I'm shocked that you think Equator looks good. To me that channel usually looks like very good SD, a far cry from even DVD, let alone True HD. To me all the Voom stuff looks that way now. A pity really, since I remember what it used to look like when Voom...

Install help part 2 OK, After checking out the Voom dish, I found that it has a rectangular tube on it that LOOKS like it should accept a dish 500 I adapter, which would allow me to put a Dish pro dual lnb on it. Can anyone confirm that this will work?

I am purchasing it thru the Dishstore and will keep my old HD pack. What I want to know, is will I recieve ALL the HD with the old HD pack or are the new channels only available with a Metal Package.

There are almost no Hong Kong style stuff avaiable that actually has subtitles available. The only ones I can think of are the Jet Li "Once upon a time in China" and the "Chinese Ghost Story". It seems like they MUST be avaiable in China, but those versions stay there I guess.

I agree completely with the comments about subtitles. I have never seen a dubbed version that I prefer to the original, though there are a few Criterion releases that have very well done dub tracks. Personally I no longer even notice that I'm reading subtitles. I've been watching alot more...
