    This was last year. $35 off classic, free genie go, free upgrade to hr44, free nfl ticket, free dish upgrade. I have another month before I have to do this again. I go in with pricing from 3 other providers and really don't care if I leave. It's up to them to make the offer I can't refuse.

    As your contract come to a end the possibilities start to improve. If all your equipment is what you want then it's time to negotiate. I love this time every year as it can be very rewarding. Remember above all a few things. Be nice to your retention agents as most of them really help...

    Cancel with New Customer Sign-up

    I renew every two years and renew with Retention only. They are great to work with. I paid zero for the HR34 and all the upgrade installation. It certainly would be easier to be a new customer as they give more programming credits. I'm very happy with my agreement.

    how much is your genie(hr34) costing you?

    I too upgrade every two years. I received the HR34, new swm dish connection kit etc for free. Retention was great...Never talk with the CR reps as they can not make the same agreements. I'm very happy with all the credits they gave on top of all the equipment.

    How do I find the beta software information not listed in the CE program. Directv forum said to be careful when doing a forced software download that you might end up getting beta not in the CE listing. I'd like to know what they are...Any ideas?

    October 10 starts the fall promotion...The promotion is posted in this forum somewhere. Make sure you get the everything mentioned above plus do not pay for any hardware. Wire every room you like you might need, HR34, as many c31 as you need, whole home internet and connection kit, etc...
