    Hmmm... KAET must have the TV Guide private stream turned off. You should still be getting 8.2, but it is no longer the PBS SD channel - as of Feb 1, 8.2 is "Create".

    I just captured a 2 minute segment of KAET-DT and noticed that there is no "private sections" (i.e. TV Guide data). I think they turned off the TV Guide data earlier today to diagnose a recent issue of no audio on channel 8.1 with Mitsubishi digital tuners. So enjoy it while it lasts, because...

    Yes I'm in contact with the engineer at KAET about this porblem. I'm going to let them use one of my unused Voom receivers to do some testing and analysis as to why the box is rebooting. I'll post updates here as I get them.

    Phoenix users - how's your 3TV reception

    No problems for me receiving KTVT-DT 3.1. Back on May 1, KTVK & KASW were off the air due to a power failure, but went back on about 6 hours later. I will PM you with contact info. Yes - all HOME Diamondback games on 3TV are being broadcast in HD. The picture quality is outstanding!

    The local PBS station in Phoenix, AZ (KAET) also made programming guide changes recently that is causing the Voom receiver to reboot when tuning into the HD channel (8.1).

    FYI, if you reboot your receiver, not only do you lose the program guide for the locals but you also lose the Super DMA mappings.

    Shawn, please let us know what you think of the Cox HD PQ. I assume you will still have Voom connected, so you can do A-B comparisons on some of the common channels?

    No. I tried that and the box boots up with an access card error message, and you can't do anything else from there.

    Here's a link to the FCC's web site 'TVQ TV Query Database'. You can select by State, and even by type of service (Radio, Analog TV, Digital TV, Low Power, etc.) It provides A LOT of information about the stations.
