    I'm in California, too, and ONN was up roughly about a half hour or so ago before I started this thread. Could the transition to Horizons 2 just have taken place with us folks on the West Coast losing ONN?

    The length of time it takes to blind scan (power scan is what it's actually called on the Mercury II) depends on whether you select a quick, normal or detailed scan as well as the frequency step you choose (which I believe, going from memory, are 4 or 6). In any case, a quick scan should take...

    I actually purchased mine on ebay last year for a lot less than that and have had no problems with the receiver.     Why would people on the West Coast lose ONN? Doesn't CONUS mean that it'll cover the entire U.S.?

    Never seen the mux before with zero siqnal quality. Usually, if nothing's on, it'll have a black screen with good signal quality.
