Strange..... I tried Dish Anywhere and it seems that I am now getting guide data on the OTA channel. Am away from home so has something happened in the last two days to allow Dish Anywhere to display guide data on OTA even though main channel shows WGN?

Well mine are IR/UHF 21.1 so .will they work UHF or only IR? Even in same room I have dvr behind a door so need UHF plus of course need uhf for remote tvs. Will the 40 remotes for Joeys be IR/UHF or only IR?

Will be getting hopper soon. I have several 21.1 remotes. Will they work with hoppers/joeys?

I have two SD - Non HD TVs (in addition to several HD TVs) which are now connected to 722K from the SD coax out using a conventional splitter. In a H/J set up how would these TVs be connected?

Can you please tell us where this has come up and the reasoning behind not allowing VIPs on a Joey system? That is what I think I am going to need.

Not the issue. I already took care of the sleep problem a long time ago when I first bought the disk drive. It worked fine for a year. This problem is different in that it actually disconnects me.

After 1 year I am now getting errors when I go to transfer to my Seagate EHD. It starts transferring, gives error message, disconnects HD even though it is still connected and then says there is no hard drive connected. Anybody else having this problem? Cause?

Not sure the point of this response. The original point was that dish network remotes are designed to operate different boxes. This one is not since it appears it cannot be set up to only operate the DTVPAL. The other posts have been helpful in understanding the issue. Just trying to figure...

Well after 6 tries I finally got a hold of someone at dish who said this is a known problem. They said that I should have been told this. They said they would look into it some more
