I just got my d* installed yesterday morning and was told I could get the Showtime / Starz / The101 On Demand stuff over the internet if I had a router. I hooked up my router next to the box and got the receiver to get an IP address. The only problem is that when I try to order stuff on demand...

In case anyone else gets this problem, it ends up that when I called 30 mins after my first call, and ordered a second HD-DVR they redid my account number (and didn't mention it to me). Hope that helps someone else. Thanks for the help Baldone.

I only have one HDTV (just moved in), but I'm going to buy another one soon (probably around BF). If I'm going to order two HD-DVRs, do I need to have both TVs there for the install?

I'm also about to get it (probably either today or tomorrow). Since I don't have it, I can't answer all your questions, but I can answer one. Definitely order over the phone. Their deals are much better than online (at least for me).

FWIW, this is what I got from two seperate CSRs for 2 HD-DVRs and Plus HD-DVR service: 54.98/month for first year - 10/month (for AAA discount) - 10/month for 5 months (referral from admin): 34.98/month for 5 months. not too bad. (plus 99.99 fee for additional HD-DVR).

Well, I guess my question is, are they going to charge me for not having a landline? I have internet, just no landline.
