Hello Everyone, I have no direct knowledge of Indiana or Illinois but in the state of New Jersey the owner of the property IS definitely responsible for utilities if a tenant defaults. I do not believe this covers Directv as it is not considered a utility. Just my 2 cents

i recieved mailer telling me thanks it is a 5 dollar credit for the next few momnths, not sure if it was 3 months or 5 months but its 5 dollars off for sure. i would have been happier with a new dvr but hey i can laways call for that LOL

was never charged for a replacement remote, it was covered under the protection plan, no charge for shipping ever, never any charge for replacement boxes either

Hello, i have the protection plan, have had it for a few years and i have had remotes replaced on at least 3 occasions. 2 dishes came down with wind , replaced no charge. $ different receivers replaced again no charge. This is either a change in the plan or u have a cs rep giving u false info...

Yes i have had the protection plan. it has paid off for me as i live in the northeast united states so wind is an issue as my dish gets thrown out of alignment at least once a winter.

i have had 2 boxes replaced and neither time was my commitment extended. i verified this with customer service when boxes were activated by me. i was told the original commitment was in effect but not extended. also had an older box replaced and again no extension of commitment
