In general, have to agree. I ended up canceling my Netflix streaming subscription cause I couldn't find anything to watch after a short time. Right now the Blockbuster one disk at a time deal is working fine for me.

Don't know if it means anything in the long run, but since the update, my sling works much better.

I think that is about when I started. I recall that Dish just reached 100k subscribers shortly after I signed up! And yes, they sent me the dish and receiver and wished me luck.

My iPad just connected ok a few minutes ago. My Droid phone can't seem to log in. Just too buggy!

Gave it a try today and my iPad connected to my 922 just fine. First time in a long time. Hope it is indeed fixed now...

Same here. Can see and access my 722 with sling on my iPad and android phone but the 922 shows off line. Weird, because I can access the 922 on my desktop computer.... Guess i'll call in to see if they have a cure

Yep, I get that. Searching forums should not be such a pain. Sometimes they work for you and sometimes they don't. Even after you get to know a forum and the right vocabulary, their search system can still be difficult.

Once you DVR, you never go back. My totally non techie wife, (who never did figure out VCRS), will only watch her shows recorded. Now have 3 dvrs in the house....

Just go to the app store on your iPad and search for Dish. So far, the latest update has been a definite improvement.

Don't know what troubleshooting you have done yet, but I always start with deleting the app and reinstalling it. This sling system is buggy and unreliable on it's own, but if your app doesn't open or just opens to a white screen it sounds like a bad install or a conflict with something on your...

Just got the new update to the Dish App for the IPad. Seems to be much improved. Better interface and, so far, fast and smooth. Have only used it for a short time on the 922 so we'll see.....

When I had my 922 installed recently, the installer instructed me to leave it alone for 2 days. He said it may not take that long but, in his many installations, none had taken longer.
