Yea, so I am going to stay with Dish, they gave me a decent price, it was on about $10 more than I was paying the last 2 years. Also they are giving me new joey 3's which I didn't even know they had, but now I do thanks to you you, so thank you.

I'm going to call them today, didn't know that have a "loyalty" department? If you can find that # let me know.

I couldn't get a good deal out of them, and I think the joey's are really slow, the hopper is fast. DTV is supposed to be here this sunday to install, but I may call dish again and see if they will give a better deal. I would like to stay with them.

Are the locals currently removed from dtv?

So looks like the dish before the hopper and joeys came out used a 2" not a 1-5/8.

When I got Dish Network in 2005, it was before they had the hopper-joey and the original dish was on a 2” pole, then when they came to put the hopper-joey dish the size changed to 1-5/8, so I had an adapter made to fit on the 2” pole for the new dish, you can see the adapter in the picture, now...

Does anyone remember what the pole size was to mount a dish network dish in 2005?

I have a LNT3253HX/XAA Samsung 32" LCD purchased in 2007. Was having the same problem when connected only with HDMI cable with both the Joey and Roku the sound would drop out, the video would flicker for just an instant and then no sound, had to turn the tv off then back on to regain sound...

Dish support had me set the audio to pcm only, that is one of the first things that was done, still the same problem.

Ok, I discovered that when the sound goes out I don’t have to reboot the Joey, just turn the TV off and then back on, or unplug and replug the HDMI cable. Changed the HDMI cable with a replacement from Dish. Maybe I should try a better quality HDMI cable? Specs for the TV with the...
