Charlie sure did say that. That was the only reason I leased a 942 in December through CEO. I even asked them about it and they said oh Mpeg4 is a ways off. But this really doesn't surprise me. If I serviced my customers the way Charlie doe I wouldn't have any.:D

I am going to be trying to go out of the 942 via the component out this weekend at 480i to my sony HX900 at 480i doing HD stuff. Granted it won't be hd anymore but it should be DVD quality I would think. Will let you know.

From what I have thought my locals are on 61.5 and I already get that since I have Voom channels.

I was not aware that there is no OTA program info with the 942. All it says is Digital service. Is this really true. I am very disappointed since I asked the person at CEO is all that works the same. I have called tech support and they tell me that I would have to get their locals to get guide...

I am experiencing this on all hd channels. I am waiting here this afternoon for installer to show up to swap out my 811 for 942. I am getting a little concerned whether I should have cancelled and jumped ship.
