I have tried several times and Dish will not allow it.

I currently have 110/119/61.5. I can not get 129 or 77 beacuse of LOS. Dish will not give me EA because I can not see 77. This means that when the transition is complete I will not have any HD. I currently do not get the latest HD channels that were added - this does not bother me...

What HD channels have I lost? I haven't gotten the new ones, however, to the best of my knowledge I have not lost any of the ones that I had. I do not subscribe to any movie channels so if they move it will not affect me. It is possible that down the road other HD channels will move from 61.5...

Are you sure about this? Why is Dish launching a new satelitte at 61.5?

I had a similar call from "Dish". I told the guy to give me his phone number and I would call him back with the information. He said he needed the information immediately in order to keep my service active. I asked for his employee ID and what department he was in. At that point he hung up.

As soon as my committement is up I will be doing the same.
