I have tried several times and Dish will not allow it.

I currently have 110/119/61.5. I can not get 129 or 77 beacuse of LOS. Dish will not give me EA because I can not see 77. This means that when the transition is complete I will not have any HD. I currently do not get the latest HD channels that were added - this does not bother me...

I had a similar call from "Dish". I told the guy to give me his phone number and I would call him back with the information. He said he needed the information immediately in order to keep my service active. I asked for his employee ID and what department he was in. At that point he hung up.

As soon as my committement is up I will be doing the same.

I get 61.5 but can not get eastern arc because I can not see the 77 sat (because a tree is blocking that sat)- I can see 61.5 and 72. My local SD channels are on 110/119 - not all of my locals are HD. I can not see 129 because of trees. A Dish tech suggested that I switch to DirectTv.

When I bought an external drive I was going to get a 500GB. However, the price difference between 500GB and 1TB was not very much. I am sure glad that I got the 1TB because I have already used more than 500GB.

I have the same situtation as Lt Disher and actually figure my bill will go up $4 - the $1 mentioned above plus the $3 credit that I have been getting after E* backed off the $8 price increse last year.
