Just so I understand it correctly, I can purchase another DVR six months from now and that would be eligible for rebate? And when I activate that one, they would extend my contract for two years starting on that day? So I would end up with a contract for 2 years and 6 months. Is this correct?

Most DVD players do Component out over SD and it looks better than S-Video. However, I have not seen any cable/dish/directv box that does standard def over component out.

Installer is pretty sure he is locked onto the 95 with a signal strength of 39. He says 36-40 is normal for 95 and he has never seen more on that sat. I don't know about the model of the multi switch but I will pass the info on to the installer when he shows up next. Thanks for the help...
