OTA Ch Buzzr added to dish.

Now if we could just get Dish to give us guide data for our local over-the-air channel, that'd be great!
Does the local affiliate show different programming than the national feed? I am just glad to get the guide data on channel 245. You could always set manual timers for the OTA channel, based on that guide data, if you wish to record the OTA version instead.

My dog Blackie is out of sorts today because he can no longer watch FIDO TV, he isn't into game shows at all.
Your dog is just now noticing? Dish dropped FIDO around the beginning of the year. BUZZR replaced BUY! (a shopping channel) which was FIDO's temporary replacement.

I can do without one more spot for "Buy!". As it is, I've removed that infection completely from my Hopper. Speaking of things I can pass on,

Anyone up for "Queen for a Day?"

I don't think Fremantle has any episodes of that show in its library as it is, and for that we probably should be grateful.

I wouldn't mind them importing a few first-run games from Britain, however.

Wow! A channel added to Flex, and it's one that I'll watch. Now I can see What's My Line again. It was a different world back when Bennett Cerf could be a celebrity. The only disappointment on the schedule was there were no programs with Bill Cullen.

If it hadn't been for SatelliteGuys I'd have never noticed this. This is one site that's well worth the price of membership.

I have been watching this channel all day, reminds me of what Game Show Network use to be. :) Love Match Game. :D

I just noticed today that Dish picked up Buzzr and it's definitely going to be one of the main channels I watch from now on. In fact, I would say that this is the best new channel that Dish has added within the past year. :D

Despite the repetition of episodes that some people have been complaining about, Buzzr currently airs a lot of older game shows that GSN has removed from their schedule in favor of modern HD-quality programming.

Shows like Monty Hall's Let's Make a Deal, Dawson's Family Feud, Password Plus, Sale of the Century, Tattletales, BlockBusters... The last time any of these had a permanent slot on GSN's schedule was back around 2009. Occasionally GSN will bring one of them back for a few weeks, but then they'll replace it again with another Harvey Feud airing.

I've been waiting since June 2015 when Buzzr first launched for Dish to pick it up, so I'm really glad it's now available! Maybe Dish got it because of all the retro game shows that have been coming back to the main primetime networks this year. :D

This channel has become quickly one of my main watched channel.

Last Night they had a show on called Double Dare, which I thought was going to be the classic Nickelodeon Game show, but it was not instead it was a game show hosted by Alex Trebek and whats funny was all the music used in the show was later on used for the game show "Card Sharks"

Fun channel!

Buzzer is an OTA channel in Tampa watch it often. To Tell the Truth, What's My Line, and maybe I've got a secret are gems. It's amazing seeing a guest who later became famous for something or at the time was something new or unbelievable. Even travel - it was a big thing that a regular person made the trip from Florida or California to the show. And the panelists.. lol.. "Kitty" Carlisle, and the mysterious life of Dorothy Kilgallen. If you don't about her look it up.

I have been watching this since it came out on FTA. Actually I didn't even know about it until the guy who started it contacted me for a FTA receiver that would tune it.

I have been building a collection of What's My Line? and To Tell the Truth episodes off my TiVo ever since Buzzr became an OTA channel here.

Love 'em both, especially the old B&W versions from 50's and early 60's.

You can tell they are kinescoples because the pictures are round in the corners where they were captured on video off a tube.

I like they keep the old commercials in the old shows. Some of those commercials are interesting to watch when you consider they didn't have computers to add the graphics and effects back then. All done by hand!

Yes, I was also excited when I saw that in the guide, until I read the description and saw that it was the older show that I had never heard of before, instead of the Nickelodeon version. So, I watched a little of it last night, and I was surprised, thinking "Wait, I've never seen this show before, but the music is very familiar." Then I realized that I recognized it from "Card Sharks." It is an interesting show, but I still mourn the loss of Nickelodeon Games And Sports, even after all of these years.

I am not sure. I have Top 250 and I still have it. According to their website, it is almost every package, Welcome Pack and above. BUZZR (BUZZR) on DISH | MyDISH Station Details
Great, so it was just Flex Pack that lost it. I love how Dish announces these changes. BUZZR was not listed as a free preview on the Dish Perks Free Preview page on the Dish website, and it is still not listed there under "Last Month's Free Previews" either.

Luckily BUZZR has been showing the same episodes over and over and haven't added anything new for a while now. I'll hold off on making any changes for the time being.
