Will a deactivated Hopper 2 stream Youtube with a software update?

Unfortunely not because it needs the hopper with sling receiver connected to the internet to stream youtube got it.

It is a Hopper with sling and I do have internet.

That's one of those "you'll never know until you try" scenarios. I would doubt you could.

As a "I just want to know" I get it. Otherwise there are a gadjillion ways to stream Youtube.

Almost as many as ways to stream Netflix! Less, though, since I can watch Netflix with my 4K Joey but I can't use it to watch YouTube.
