This guy had bought his tailgater 4 in 2017. When the tailgater was swapped with another one, It found all 3 sats. So it was the tailgater. Thanks for the help
Hope this is not a dumb question. Is there a way to check the signal at the 211/wally with a sat buddy? (trying to figure out if it is the receiver or tailgater)
Thanks
Couln't find a place to ask this question so I thought I could ask it here. All my local channels come in except my CBS channel. When I go to my CBS channel the lights start to cascade up and the sysytem reboots . Anyone seen this problem?
Thanks

Does anyone know if these CSR's for ATT are any better than the E*? We already heard that their QAS's are really tough. We have been told to follow the rules because they will fail you in a second.
Depending on who does the install he might get a 722. Tomorrow I have a w/o that calls out for 2 622's. Our office doesn't have any so I will be installing 2 722's because they are now interchangeable. Lucky customer.
I guess the next question is: which sat will the locals be on here in Columbia, SC. We have been istalling the 118.7 sat here in SC for Charlotte. We also have been installing a whole s***load of 1000.2 because everyone thinks that come 2009 that they will need a HD TV. If it will be on the...
If we don't have any 622's in the shop, we can swap out w/722 if the receiver is defective, and if someone is upgrading and again we don't have 1 in the shop, they will get a 722 w/o paying anything extra. done these 2 options a few times now
I have had a couple of Check switches that read 129 first. It turned to be that the reflector was bent. Put on another reflector and 119 came in first. I always peak on 129 with a W bracket. Then put on the 1000.2 braket.
We were told it was OK to upgrade customer to a 722 if we had no 622's in the shop. Had to go through a CSR and he had to fix the problem so the customer wouldn't get charged for it. He also told me that they were the last to know that it was ok to do this.
being told that we are being cut back on DPP Plus's and have to start using the old hard wiring (Legacy quads/DP Twins and DP Quads) like we used to have to use with the Super Dishes with 34 switches until they are all used up:mad:. Are there any other DNS tech shops being told the same thing...
It will be cheaper to add the power inserter than to wait for it to fail and you have to buy another one-not cheap. I have said before that i have had my 44 switch hooked up for over 2 years w/o the piower inserter and haven't had any problems. If you are so concerned with what the outcome could...
When they said that that the power inserter comes from port 1 (output) of the 44 switch to the receiver, It has to be that way or the power inserter won't do what it is supposed to do. Are you using a seperator and a diplexer into the receiver from the 44 switch since you said you only have 1...
I would try swapping the 622 and the 625. If the 622 does the same as the 625 it is a wiring problem. If the 625 does the same thing after swapping with the 622 then it is the receiver. If it has been less than 3 months since the install, have a tech come out to check it out/won't cost you a...
