I think the point should be that if you pay the locals fee you should get full guide data for over the air channels. If you don't pay the fee, then they could shut that off. It can't be that hard to do it that way and then they would be assured of getting the fee if people wanted the guide data...

Just wondering if you can buy one through dish yet for $499. I see the dish store has them for that price. I had heard they were going to offer them on 5-13.

If you rural electric coop is a memnber of the NRTC you can get it now and they are charging just for the equipment. It's a good deal really. I am an installer for a coop in Southwest Minnesota and I can say that all the people I have installed are happy with the service as these people only...

I am an installer for a local member of the NRTC. NRTC has the rights to install Wildblue until September. If you want it now, you have to go through a NRTC member at this time. I would recommend them if you are stuck on dialup connection. DSL I think would be better but for some folks it's not...

I'm vooming again thanks to my new 942. I love RAVE, the other channels I can live with out but for $5 I think that is a good price. I'm using a dpp44 switch to get 148, 110, 119 and 61.5. Working great after the duplicate channel fix of 225.

I do not believe that you would be charged for having an extra set.

I've got the tv and it does the same thing but mine cuts off the bottom. I had a 921 that did it and now my 942 does it so I think it is in the tv. Someone said something about adjusting the overscan in the service menu but I don't know how to get into that. Maybe someone who knows will post here.
