There are several shown if you search " 7 port self powered usb 3.0 hub on off switches " on Amazon. I just don't know which would be good with a Hopper 2.

I only see what looks like a power cord coming off of the hub in the picture. No ush cable. Does it come with both. Also, can't tell much from the picture but I can't see where there are 13 ports and on/off switches. Do you use it with a Dish DVR?

The Hopper does not copy programs to the EHD. It moves them to the EHD freeing up that space on the internal EHD. So if you add a 2TB drive to the Hopper it gives you a total of 4TB. You can move programs back and forth between the Hopper and EHD.

I am ordering a VOD that on the on-screen-guide says is 1080p online. On the online order page it says the video format is HD in a grey box. Should it say 1080p for the video format?

Will I be able to watch premium channels movies recorded while subscribed to them and put on an External Hard Drive if I unsubscribe from the channels? They are not movies recorded from free previews, they were recorded while subscribed to the channels.

I don't believe the colors indicate which tuner is being used. It is my understanding that the blue indicates one tuner is recording at that time, green indicates there are two tuners recording at that time (not necessarily the same tuner unless possibly they are on the big 4 networks), and...

If you do have the tv remote, you may need to go into the menu and scan for available channels. Then most likely would need to put it on channel 3 maybe 4.
