I'm getting the 4k channel, but the picture doesn't look great. Other 4k programming has looked amazing. Here's a comparison between the 4k and a regular HD.
My Hopper 3 says it has recorded/ is recording last night's and tonight's "Late Night" and tonight's "Tonight Show," but the recordings aren't there. Is this a known bug?
I have a dual tuner OTA Adapter hooked up to a Hopper 3, however I'm only getting one tuner. Is the 2nd tuner active, or could is it in a software version that my H3 doesn't have? (I don't know what it has now, I've only had it for 3 weeks.)
Related question: I'm getting the H3 installed on Sunday and am needing a hard drive to transfer/archive recordings. Does the hard drive need to have a separate plug or can it be one that just has USB power? I know the DISH site says it needs its own power supply, but I just wanted to make sure.
Same experience here. I upgraded to CUI back in the autumn, when it first became available for Hopper 1. At first it was buggy and slow, now it's a lot better. Still a little lag in the DVR menu, but overall it's fine.
