CSRs won't know squat about local HDs.
Best bet is to call your Davenport affiliates and talk to their engineers. They will know if Dish is doing anything to get the local HDs up.

DISH already boosted your signal when they launched Ciel2 and replaced the old fading 129.
Signals are up 20 points on some transponders.
Ditch the dish 500 and align properly with your 1000.2
fred
All these criteria have been met. The fiber signal has reached destination.
We heard that a technical problem developed, may have something to do with the spot beam on 129 tr5.

So you're a toyota dealer and don't have Camrys or pathfinders!!
Maybe Toyota wants too much for them and you don't want to sell
those models. Agreements have to be reached all over !!!

Actually, the lower air channels (21, 22, 23, 24) put out a better modulated signal than the default of ch60.
as info, air 22 is almost the identical frequencty as cable 73.

Unless you're gonna buy two HD receivers that's the way it works. the Retailer (and Dish) will want a new 2 year agreement!!!!
Call the local retailer back. He'll be there if/when you need help.
It beats calling an 800 number.

(fwiw, have you found a repair facility for that plasma...
Internet TV may be 'free' now.
BUT, eventually it's gonna cost you. (along with internet tv tax)
fred
(FREE!!!!........aahhhhhh, I remember my Chapparel and 10 ft dish!!!)
Somewhere, either on remote or tv , there is a menu to change from cable to air.
But, alas, if you can't change it then use cable 73. It's almost the identical frequency as air 22.
still fuzzy, change connectors or use new cable...............
