Will we ever have the ability to see and play our EHD'S from any Joey or Hopper?

My setup is Hopper1/Joey1 linked and Hopper2/Joey2 linked. The hard drives in both Hoppers are available on all four boxes. The problem is, Hopper1 has an EHD attached that is only recognized by Hopper1/Joey1. The EHD does not appear on the Hopper2/Joey2 boxes. Is this normal? Is there a fix?

Am I doing this right? I hit save series for certain shows in prime time. This set up a separate timer on a separate tuner for those shows. What a waste of a tuner if the show is recording on two tuners at the same time. I deleted the timer, now I'm forced to remember to save to DVR after...

I've been watching my recorded DVR programs without a sling box for quite a while. All of a sudden when I try to access my DVR recorded shows from my work computer, a prompt tells me I need a sling box. What's the deal? It worked before, but not now. :confused:
