    DVI (HDCP) problems on sharp LC-45

    I've posted on avsforums and the few that have my LCD and VOOM, do not have any problems with DVI. I don't know whether the issue is the TV (it IS HDCP compliant on DVI) or the STB. Anyways, the picture will not show up, or go out. I can connect on component and see two different error...

    DVI not working...

    When I connect DVI to my TV, I get nothing on the TV. On the component outputs, I see the STB give me a message that my DVI device is not responding to HDCP requests. The DVI port is supposed to support HDCP, according to Sharp's manual. any ideas?

    Finally Voomin > 480i!!

    After a few months of watching on a SDTV, I can finally see all pixels on a 1080 image. I can also compare cable HDNET/INHD to Voom. So far, I am not blown away with HDNET/INHD. rush looks pretty amazing though!

    I think it was months ago when I 1st dialed get-voom. In fact, the installer had to go back and forth over the phone with them because they said I cancelled.     2nd install attempt, still unsuccessful

    stll no LOS. At least this installer gave me more info on what is needed for install. He said if i pruned the branches off this tree that he would come out. So, now I have to talk to the apt. manager. and, I guess I am out $45 because this is the 2nd attempt.

    installer wouldn't install

    well, my LOS fears have been realized. When the installer shows up on the street, I was talking to him about voom. He says he is tired of LOS/OTA issues and now he just refuses to install if things aren't perfect. I asked him about the equip troubles and he says he is about to stop intsalling...
