I just tried the same thing and same argument and my CSR wouldnt budge one bit. I was not happy. says if i remove the package i could not get the channels back at all, short of removing my entire HD package and possibly adding it back i might get them he says. Wow i cant believe it.

Locked on to transponder 2 with spotbeam, strength was 75. may have to move to casper.

I am in Cody, Wy south of billings. I do get the transponder 5 to change to spotbeam but the strength is only a 9. Is that strong enough?

Has anyone heard if Billings, MT will get HD locals on dish? I do believe that they will be the last HD locals to be picked up. I live 100 miles from there towers so OTA HD is not possible. Any news or solutions for us here in nowhere land?

Anyone know if the Billings HD locals will ever get to Dish. I believe they could be the last possible HD locals to be put on Dish. I live in northern Wyoming and cannot get them off air as we have a mountain in the way.

Hi, I am a current dish customer and about 1 year through my 18 month commitment. I am looking to drop HBO and Cinemax from my package as i dont watch them enough to warrant the cost. Will i be charged for the changes as i have a commitment or can i drop it for nothing? Thanks!
