    HD Format Question

What do you guys think about setting the television to native format for each channel or leaving the television to one format? Does it affect the television at all? The picture seems to be about the same whether it's 1080i or 720p to me. Not sure which forum to ask this so feel free to move...

Making the switch from DISH, but I need to know the truth about some things....help me please

I switched a week ago and am very happy. The CSR I got on the phone was great, almost too giddy, but he was trying to sell me something. He was not unreasonable at all, overly friendly, but not unreasonable.

    Switch to DIRECTV

We just put the chickens outside for the first time tonight. They are only 4 weeks old. The dog chases them but no damage yet. I think the dog is just playing with them.

    Switch to DIRECTV

The chickens wouldn't last long. My dog is smaller than the chicken. We have a Yorkie.

    Switch to DIRECTV

Well, everything went well. The installer was great and very polite. We just got four backyard chickens and he said he has chickens at home also.

I also checked out dishpointer.com and it shows a tree about 200 feet from my house but the obstacle checker said it has to be about 200 feet tall, including the height of the dish (on the roof). I don't live in northern California among the sequoias. I'm in Ann Arbor, which has lots of trees...
