Got It! Well I can't say I really understand how, but I'm now getting RTN at about 40% Q. After I added TP 11735 for RTN, and then scanned all TPs, my 3500 did not find RTN. Then, on the antenna setup page, I tried selecting TP 11735 and then doing a scan from the same page ..... wahlah...

Solved ..... well maybe Duh!! Somehow I thought Montana PBS was at 125.5 deg W on AMC121 and that was in my USALS setting for AMC121. Of course the correct AMC121 position is 125.0 deg W. Duno how I screwed up thinking the bird was at 125.5, but I reset it to 125.0. Anyway, time will tell...

Still No Joy Well guys ...... all good comments and ideas, but I'm still stumped. I'm using a Fortec 90cm dish (about 36") on a mountain in southern California at 5,600 ft. It only seems to be PBS on AMC21 that is giving me such a wide and unstable range of signal quality. I see no correlation...

Lately, Montana PBS quality on my Pansat 3500SD has been flakey. It sometimes bounces between Q85 and no signal within a few minutes. At other times it stays around 80 for hours or even days. Other channels on AMC21 do not do this. Any ideas?
