Scott,first of all, thanks for all the info in this website.It's been very helpful.Have you talked to your Dish contact about the bad video quality of SD out of the 811?My previous receiver (a 2800) had better detail and luminance.Also when watching through s video,I see a small vertical shift...

How does yours look?I'm using the same input for SD with the same cables.Looks like the upconversion is making it look more compressed.Less detail,and the overall darker video issue.Is this correctable in a future software update?
